UK Aertex tropical Battledress KHAKI (Package)

The package includes both the Aertex Khaki tropical jacket and the matching trousers. These two pieces together form the complete set. It is a reproduction uniform suitable for reenactment.

The jacket's fit is inconsistent, with some finding it tight across the shoulders and chest even when ordering a size up. The cut can feel odd, with some jackets being tight in the front shoulders but not the back. For a more comfortable fit with room for arm movement, ordering one or two sizes larger than your usual is suggested.

The trousers' sizing is inconsistent, with some finding them a size down from the label. They can be tight in the waist, even when ordering a larger size. However, some trousers are baggy and can be taken in if needed.

The Aertex fabric is light, making it suitable for hot climates and keeping the wearer cool. It is comfortable to wear and feels right after some use and washing. The fabric is good quality and feels like a proper Aertex material.

The trousers can shrink at the waist after hot soaks. Ordering trousers an inch or two up allows for this shrinkage while still maintaining a comfortable, baggy fit.

The jacket can be cut too long, with some reaching down to the hips. This may require shortening to achieve the proper waist length for interfacing with the trousers. The waist band is also placed too low on some jackets.
