A new reproduction of one of the earliest model of first aid pouch. This is a Model 1904 pouch that has been modified to Model 1907 configuration by changing the hook and moving the snap studs slightly. The changes were made to accomodate the new M1907 First Aid Packet. These pouches were hung from the cartridge belt by a wire hook that passed through eyelets in the body of the pouch. They were made of very sturdy canvas, and were still in use in WWI and even later.
