UK P-37 Web Equipment Belt

The belt is available in Large, Extra Large, and XXL sizes. The Large size has a maximum length of 46 inches (117cm). The X-Large size extends to a maximum of 56 inches (142cm), and the XXL size has a maximum length of 65 inches (165cm).

The reproduction is a very good and passable item, with the colour, feel, and thickness of the webbing being accurate. The weave and weight of the webbing are slightly different from originals, but this requires close inspection to notice. The general construction and weaving are very accurate, making it hard to distinguish from an original UK WWII utility belt.

The brass hardware is perfectly riveted and sturdy. However, the hardware is slightly smaller dimensionally than originals, making the buckle incompatible if mixed with original components. The rear buckles are not positioned as per an original belt.

The brass hardware often arrives with a significant amount of tarnishing or light corrosion. This "pre-aged" appearance can leave light ghost line bars on the webbing when the sliders are adjusted. The brass can be cleaned with a wire wheel, but the belts cannot be taken apart like originals, preventing cleaning of areas next to the webbing.

The webbing has good colour, thickness, and strength. The feel and thickness of the webbing are absolutely good. It is capable of supporting the weight of a P37 holster, a firearm, and a P37 ammo pouch.

The Large size adjusts easily down to at least 34 inches. The XL size fits perfectly for those who require it. The adjustment pockets on the inside are correct.
