The quality of the jacket meets and exceeds that of any of the military, commercial, historic, or currently available trenchcoats ever made. Every detail is of very fine quality from accuracy, assembly, fabrics, through details. The details are many: buttons, unique designs, stitching, edging, and chain installed for hanging- all are perfect. The liner was a nice surprise. It is a woolen black and red plaid that is fully period-complementary: of the sort that would have been made privately for an officer, according to military specifications, in Burberry's or by a high-end private tailor. Yes. It is THAT good. Top shelf: a "Lost Horizons" quality coat. I was expecting a quality trenchcoat, but not THIS nice. The customer service was impeccable, and the shipping time was miraculously swift. I received personal attention from Mr. Faheem, who had the warehouse specially searched for an XXL. He found one! I am very happy.

I received the Early Style Trench Coat today. It is a stunning garment with an air of authenticity modern fashion trenches lack. The attention to detail is incredible: chain hanger, throat latch and hook, oilskin inter-layer, intricate removable liner, gun flap, pass through pockets, under arm vents are all there. The jacket can be buttoned left or right depending on the wind (like a reefer) and so has gun flaps both sides. This jacket puts more expensive versions to shame and I suspect would sell well in the mainstream market. I am glad however that it is at present special item that the discerning of us have sought out.

I was uncertain as to size and am very grateful for Jerry’s spot-on advice and for his efforts to source the right size from amongst UAE and US stocks. Shipping from West Coast USA to West Coast Australia was impressively fast (about a week). Thank you very much.
