Well made boot, identical to my original set. Fit is a little looser than my originals, but after I get them wet the canvas should tighten up some fixing that issue. Quality rugged boot, just like the originals.

I wear a 10W to 10.5W, and the size 10 of these boots fits me pretty much perfect. Great attention to detail went into these, and they are well made. IMHO, the canvas is slightly "off" (when compared to original boots) in weight, but it's close. The soles look original and is quality rubber. Even the laces compare to the originals!

I am very happy with my first pattern jungle boots. So much so that I ordered a pair of the second pattern boots. When compared with my original third patterns and scores of internet images, these match up very well to the genuine article. I found no glaring faults, nor really any small ones. A previous gentleman had a complaint that the tell tale Vietnam era heel seam wasn’t present on these. At least some, if not all, first pattern boots lacked the heel seam. That appeared on the second type as far as I can tell. Anyway, thanks for a great pair of boots and the usual WPG superior service.

What Price glory New jungle boots. 1st Model.
Overall a very good job, on these boots.

The negatives.
The leather heal sides are a little bit on the high side. A huge shame the inner footbed isn’t made of leather. The rear of the heal is missing the distinctive heal stitch that also gives that curved shape to the heal. Markings ok but not correct. Huge shame they don’t come in regular width.

The positives.
A great pair of boots. Very well made. Sole seems solid / moulded on. All materials very good. (Less footbed). Lace Eyelets aluminium. Vent holes quite good. Awsome shipping speed. Very good price. I will be buying another pair.
